On June 9, the “Turkmenistan Smart Logistics Management Training Program,” organized by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College, visited Kaoyoung . Leveraging operational experience spanning over 130 countries and regions worldwide and a strong foundation of industry-academia collaboration, representatives from the Group’s Overseas Center and relevant route managers provided the participants with a systematic overview of advanced practices in smart logistics implementation, the layout and construction of core hubs, customs clearance reform and trade facilitation, as well as logistics business models and international logistics management. They showcased the efficient operational models and innovative capabilities of Chinese logistics enterprises.
Kerim Toilyev, Chief Expert on Transport and Logistics Development at the Department of Transport and Communications of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, stated: “We sincerely thank the Chinese side for their warm hospitality and Kaoyoung for their meticulous arrangements. The content of this training has demonstrated China’s successful experience in smart logistics management, providing a valuable model for our developing national logistics system. All of us participants will devote ourselves fully to our studies and strive to bring China’s advanced smart logistics management experience back to Turkmenistan to serve our national development. We look forward to using this opportunity to promote in-depth cooperation between our two countries across various fields.”
The participants in this training program are officials from the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Road Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority, the General Customs Administration, and other departments, covering key sectors such as government, logistics, customs, and trade. This fully reflects Turkmenistan’s urgent need to enhance its smart logistics management capabilities as a key node country along the Silk Road Economic Belt.
In recent years, Kaoyoung Intermodal has consistently participated in China’s foreign aid projects for human resources development, having served over 900 international trainees from more than 60 countries.
