On 9 September, Kaoyoung undertook the Ministry of Commerce's foreign aid mission to deliver the ‘Comprehensive Service Training Programme for Tanzania's East African Trade and Logistics Industrial Park’. The visiting Tanzanian delegation comprised high-level officials spanning diverse sectors, including the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, Zanzibar Tourism Board, Zanzibar Investment Promotion Agency, among others. Their expertise spanned critical sectors including logistics, investment, trade, industry, and public health. This composition underscored Zanzibar's urgent need to enhance its international logistics and supply chain management capabilities, reflecting its role as a vital transhipment port and re-export hub in East Africa.

Leveraging operational expertise spanning over 130 countries and regions worldwide alongside robust industry-academia collaboration foundations, Kaoyoung delivered a comprehensive presentation to trainees through its Overseas Centre. The session detailed advanced practices in intelligent warehouse management, compliant customs operations, international multimodal transport, and end-to-end supply chain solutions, showcasing the efficient operational models and innovative capabilities of China's logistics enterprises.

Participants in the training programme conducted an on-site visit to the Group's headquarters, where they engaged in in-depth and pragmatic discussions on specific topics including enhancing the efficiency of the China-Africa cross-border logistics corridor, supply chain policies for special economic zones, and facilitating customs clearance for special commodities such as high-value-added and perishable goods.

Abdullah Rashid Abdullah, Director of the Ministry of Trade and Industrial Development of Zanzibar, stated: "This training programme is both targeted and practical. China's successful experience in logistics park development and modern supply chain management provides invaluable examples for our evolving East African logistics hub. We look forward to deepening cooperation with Chinese enterprises such as Kaoyoung Transport. We hope this initiative will provide valuable insights for participants' professional development and foster enhanced collaboration across various sectors between our two nations."

Ms Hadiya Hamis Shaban, Director of the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, stated: ‘Since Tanzania's independence, China has stood firmly by our side not merely as a development partner, but as a true friend and close family member. This training programme stands as a significant testament to China's unwavering support for Tanzania's development. It will not only bolster the construction of the East Africa Logistics Park but will undoubtedly open new avenues for deeper cooperation between Tanzania and China.’

Moving forward, Kaoyoung will continue to leverage its professional expertise in international logistics and supply chain management. We shall actively fulfil all overseas training assignments delegated by the Ministry of Commerce, implement the national Belt and Road Initiative, and promote the global adoption of China's smart logistics standards. By consistently sharing China's experience, we will inject robust momentum into the international development of Chinese brands.
